Due to the popularity of our Party Nights, we’ve introduced a unique late lunch, early party tea dance on 16 December.
Our Festive Tea Dance starts with a glass of fizz on arrival, followed by a three-course lunch, which consists of two mixed roast options and plenty of seasonal dishes, whilst we play Christmas movies in the background. Then after your special gin cocktail, our DJ starts the party around 5 pm. The day ends at 9 pm so that you can get a good nights sleep in case you’ve got plans for Monday!
What’s included:
- Traditional 4 course menu
- Feature movies with a Christmas feel
- Welcome glass of fizz on arrival
- Gin cocktail post dinner
- Party hats and Christmas crackers
- Dancing to our resident DJ early evening

The Carlton Supports Local Charity and is Transforming Lives in North Devon
Back in December we took the initiative to raise money for a local charity – Freedom Community Alliance who are a ‘needs led’ organisation. This means that where they recognise a need that is not being met for the vulnerable in our community they do their best to fill the gap.
They are based in Barnstaple and provide a warm and welcoming environment for the vulnerable in our community; i.e. people that are homeless people, those suffering from substance misuse issues, people with poor physical and mental health, debt and poverty.
Through selling tickets for Christmas party nights, Christmas Day lunch and New year’s Eve dinner to guests throughout December we earnt £1 per ticket and raised a total of £314 for the charity.
A huge thank you goes out to everyone who supported us in Transforming Lives in North Devon – we really couldn’t do it without you. Cheers!
