Celebrate Easter Day Sunday Lunch in Ilfracombe

This Easter, enjoy a very special two or three course Sunday lunch, on 31st March, in our Brasserie at The Carlton.

A choice of roasts including succulent West Country sirloin of beef, best of British herb rubbed chicken, nut roast and of course lamb. Easter lunch simply isn’t the ticket without the most succulent joint of local lamb.

Add to that a great choice of other main courses, Exmoor pork chop, a tender beef curry and choice in local day boat caught fish. Something for the whole family including vegan and gluten free options.

A susperb choice of seven starters include our famous Scotch egg, smooth chicken liver parfait and a pea and fresh mint soup.

Round your meal off with something sweet, such as our lemon posset with home made shortbread, Amaretti almond Bakewell tart, local cheese board and our Meyer orange and lime cheesecake.

Two courses priced at £22.50 for adult and £12 for children, 14 and under.  Tables from 12;30pm.

Dietary Requests

We always offer plenty of choice for gluten free and coeliac diets. We cook every dish from scratch, so we can usually modify many of our dishes to suit your individual needs. A majority of our dishes are gluten free or can be readily adapted if needed. Look for the GF symbol on the menu. Please do let us know if you have any special dietary requirements.

Space to Dine

We have plenty of space for the whole family to enjoy their Easter lunch in our modern Brasserie and accompanying outside terrace (weather permitting). You can book our Nook or Stage spaces for that extra family gathering. Ask us about celebration private dining. 

Open to Non-residents

Our Brasserie is open to non staying guests, for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

North Devon’s Larder

Our chef / patron works with the best in local suppliers. Sourcing day boat caught fish, landed in Ilfracombe and Appledore, and delivered straight from the quay. We work with specialist butchers who supply the best in West Country meats, Exmoor National Park beef and Devon county game. Many of our vegetables are still grown locally, like in the Great Field at Braunton.
