Christmas Markets in Devon
After the disruptions and lockdowns in 2021, many Christmas markets in Devon may be a little lower key this year, however, there’s so much going on and loads to look forward to. We’ve put together a list of our favourite Christmas markets for you all to enjoy.
Coombe Christmas
27th & 28th November, The Landmark Theatre, Ilfracombe
Artisan craft market hosted in The Landmark Theatre, 10am-4pm. A host of local crafters, creators and makers. All around the seafront there will be Christmas stalls, and fundraising events for local good causes & charities. Loads of fun and games, stalls and food.
North Devon Christmas Market
7th December, Caen Street Car Park, Braunton
Expect live music, great food and drink, and loads of craft and artisan stalls, midday to 9pm. There will be over 130 stalls, as well as local shops and bars which will stay open late to accommodate the yuletide shoppers. Grab a hot choccy or mulled wine and absorb the amazing atmosphere.
Christmas Market
13th-14th November, Affinity Devon Outlet Shopping, Bideford
Alongside this outlet shopping, you’ll be amazed to find a traditional Christmas market with over 40 stalls, stilt walkers, festive treats, local choirs, workshops and a gnome trail! Don’t forget the mulled wine…
South Molton Winter Wonderland
29th November, Pannier Market, South Molton
60 crafty stalls in the local Pannier Market. Loads for the whole family to enjoy, including fairground rides, a children’s lantern parade and Christmas Tree festival.
Exeter Cathedral Market
16th November – 19th December, Cathedral Green, Exeter
Opening times vary, 10am-7pm Mon to Weds, 10am-9pm Thurs to Sat and 11am-5pm Sun. An award-winning event where the best craft traders in Devon show off their wares. Loads of tasty food and drinks, enjoy a hot sausage and mulled cider as you explore a plethora of stalls, German chalets and food outlets. A little further afield, but worth the effort if you’re willing to travel.
